Privacy Policy
We built Trimlane on a simple principle: your financial information is none of our business.
The short version: Trimlane collects no personal data, no analytics, and no crash reports. Everything you enter stays on your device and in your private iCloud container. We have no servers storing your information and no way to see it.

When you add a subscription, the following is stored locally on your device and optionally in your private iCloud account via Apple's CloudKit: subscription name and service, payment amount and currency, renewal date and billing cycle, category, notes, active status, and timestamps.
This data is stored in your personal iCloud private database, tied to your Apple ID and encrypted by Apple. We do not operate servers that store your subscription data and have no ability to read, access, or retrieve it.
We do not collect your name, email address, or Apple ID. We do not collect financial information, bank details, or credit card numbers. We do not track your location or access your contacts, photos, or other personal data. We do not use advertising identifiers or run ads. We do not sell, share, or transfer any user data to third parties.
If you use iCloud sync (available with Trimlane Founder), your subscription data syncs across your Apple devices through Apple's CloudKit infrastructure, handled entirely by Apple and subject to Apple's Privacy Policy. We do not operate any intermediary servers in this process. You can disable iCloud sync at any time through your device's iCloud settings.
Trimlane may collect anonymous, aggregated usage data and crash reports through Apple's built-in analytics framework to help improve app performance and stability. This data is not linked to your identity and cannot be used to identify you. You can opt out through Settings → Privacy & Security → Analytics & Improvements.
Purchases are processed by Apple's in-app purchase system via RevenueCat. Payment processing is handled entirely by Apple -- we do not receive or store your payment information. RevenueCat may process anonymous transaction identifiers to manage your purchase status. See RevenueCat's Privacy Policy for details.

Your subscription data exists only on your device and in your private iCloud account. We do not maintain any copy of it. Deleting the app removes your local data. iCloud data can be managed through your iCloud settings.
Trimlane is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children.
Since your data lives locally and in your private iCloud account, you have full control at all times. You can view, edit, or delete any subscription within the app; delete all local data by removing the app; delete iCloud data through your iCloud storage settings; and opt out of Apple Analytics through your device settings.
We may update this policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected by updating the date at the top. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
